Privacy Policy

CalGrillz is a charcoal grill restaurant in Agbor, Delta State, Nigeria. This page explains what information we keep when you use our website or our app, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it. We have tried to write it the way we would say it across the counter.

What we collect

Your details — name, phone number, email address, and your birthday (day and month only, so we can celebrate you; we do not ask for the year).
Your orders — what you bought, when, how you paid, and a delivery address if you gave one.
Rewards and games — your points, streaks, vouchers, spins, raffle numbers, predictions and tournament entries.
Payment records — the amount, date and reference of payments. We never see or store your card number or PIN. Card and online payments happen on Paystack's own secure page.
Photos you send us — like a transfer receipt you upload as proof of payment.
Device and usage data — cookies keep you signed in, and standard analytics tools (Meta and Google) may record that you visited, so our ads work better.

What we use it for

Cooking and delivering your orders, and sending receipts and order updates.
Running your rewards: points, vouchers, birthdays, games and prizes.
Keeping accounts safe — spotting fraud and protecting your points and vouchers.
Telling you about offers, if you have opted in. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link that works with one click.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make the shop run, and only what they need:

Paystack — processes card and online payments.
Meta and Google — measure whether our adverts work.
Email and SMS providers — deliver your receipts and messages.

We do not sell your information to anyone, ever.

How we protect it

Passwords are stored scrambled so even we cannot read them. Payment proofs are kept in private storage, not on public links. Points and vouchers sit on a tamper-evident record, and our staff can act on your account only through logged, audited screens. Sensitive staff actions need extra confirmation.

How long we keep it

As long as you have an account with us, plus whatever Nigerian law requires us to keep for business records. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal details and keep only the anonymised sales records the law requires.

Your rights

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just contact us and we will sort it out.
